Celebrity Style Steal – Jessica Alba

I love a good comfy casual outfit that still looks put together. When I saw this shot of Jessica Alba rocking leather leggings, a cute printed scarf, bright red pointed toe shoes and a cargo jacket…I fell in love.  It is the perfect blend of casually relaxed and still somehow super cool.  Lucky for me, I was able to find a similar look shopping all my favorite stores…and best of all, it’s totally kiddo friendly! (Provided the leather leggings have a healthy amount of give.)  I mean seriously, have you ever tried to put on leather leggings when you are hot?!   The struggle is real.  Definitely not a pair of pants you can just throw on in a hurry after showering.  Which is why it’s of the utmost importance that you find a pair with a good amount of leeway (aka healthy use of spandex like materials) so that you don’t end up with your pants around your ankles – literally.  Anyways…The scarf and shoes give an awesome pop of color and I love the combo of the oversized cargo jacket with the super cool leather leggings.  I would totally wear this out and about when I want to look super cute, as I chase my toddler down whilst he sprints away from me in a defiant tantrum.  I mean hey, if I can’t actually have my shit together…at least I can look like I do.  Fake it till you make it. Right?  Maybe not my top choice for getting down and dirty in the sandbox, but definitely perfect for running errands or enjoying a nice Saturday with the family.
