It’s SHOWTIME!

Ok…so I was planning on launching in August.  Then September.  Then October.  Then I publicly set a launch date in November forcing myself to commit to ripping off the bandaid and finalizing the new site.  Now seven magically (belated) days later we are FINALLY live!  I’m not going to lie, it took forever for me to settle on a logo and a design.  My husband (who helped tremendously in making this all possible) pretty much said over and over “just pick SOMETHING” to everything that I nitpicked about.  And then when I finally forced myself to make all necessary decisions and was ready to get everything moved over from Domesticatethis.com and ready to launch, we lost EVERYTHING in the upload.  YEP, everything!  Oh, and it all happened while we were on vacation in San Francisco for Halloween.  Needless to say it was a stressful and long car ride home.  Thankfully we were able to restore from a back up, start from scratch and get everything up and running this week.  So here it is…my new site, Rockin’ Mama Life!

I started blogging on Domesticatethis.com a couple years ago and after having Avery realized that I wanted to do more with it.  The brainstorming began and Rockin’ Mama Life was born.  I am so excited for where this site is headed and I hope you join me for the ride.  I will of course continue to blog about my own ridiculous life, random thoughts and the occasional rant.  But I will also be bringing in some awesome fitness, fashion and family content, expert advice, product reviews, local “tot spots”, and tips and tricks on surviving as a hip, healthy and happy mom.  I struggled to find my place in this mom gig, and I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by amazing experts, fellow moms and just plain awesome people to help me find myself in motherhood.  My hope is that this site will help other moms find some humor, help and happiness in motherhood too.
