I’m having a baby…like SOON (Like I should have bags packed soon)…so I thought what better way to celebrate than to give away some seriously amazing baby and mama gear. Our little 1 BR + Den apartment is busting at it’s seams with baby stuff (we have NO MORE ROOM – there are diapers in my bedside table) and I’m sharing the love.
For the next month until this baby makes it’s worldly arrival (and possibly after) I’ll be running a couple of great giveaways. Free stuff!! Wahoo!
Bamboobies Multi-Pack of Washable Nursing Pads
What it is: A 3-pack of regular (daytime) re-usable, washable bamboo nursing pads
Why I love them: When I had Avery I tried every nursing pad imaginable and quickly fell in love with these super soft bamboo nursing pads. They are shaped like a heart which is not only adorable but also functional since the heart shape allows them to shape nicely around your nipple without leaving any weird bumps. They come in a pack of three which is great since you will have one to use, one just in case and one in the wash. Honestly I had two of the multi-packs (so 6 total) and that was perfect for me since, well, I’ve been known to let the laundry pile up a bit. You also get a pair of nighttime washable pads as well that are equally as comfortable but will absorb a little more.
Bamboobies Boob-Ease 100% Organic Nipple Balm
What it is: 1 oz. of 100% organic and lanolin-free nipple balm
Why I love it: Any nursing mama knows that while “nursing shouldn’t hurt” IT FREAKING HURTS! Those first few weeks while your body is getting used to a little human sucking milk out of it, can lead to some tender nipples (and not in the good way.) I am so excited about this nipple balm because it’s lanolin-free which for me means I can actually use it! I got a rash from any of the lanolin-based products so I had to opt for the old school “air ‘em out” and hope for the best method. This go around I’m happy to get to try something that may actually give me relief! Plus I love knowing that my little one will only be exposed to organic and natural ingredients.
Bamboobies Chic Nursing Shawl
What it is: A Black nursing cover that looks more like a comfy shawl than a boob hider.
Why I love it: I struggled to find a great nursing cover for Avery. At the time there was really one main style and it SCREAMED I have a naked boob and a baby under here. Since then, there are so many super chic options for baby. I love the idea of a wearable piece of clothing that can double as a nursing cover and can’t wait to put this one into action. Especially since i’m going to have a “winter-ish” baby, scarf/shawl nursing covers are going to be great! I can keep myself warm and have a cover ready to use.
Ergobaby Adapt 3-Position Baby Carrier
What it is: Ergobaby’s latest carrier that allows you to carry baby from newborn to toddler (7-45lbs) in three ways – facing you, on your hip and on your back WITHOUT an infant insert!
Why I love it: Baby wearing = FREEDOM! Freedom to chase a busy toddler. Freedom to do dishes, cook meals, feed yourself, answer emails, stalk people on facebook, put on makeup. Freedom to use your hands! And anyone who is a proud Ergobaby original lover (like myself) knows that babies (or at least mine) HATE the infant insert. I tried every which way imaginable to make it work for us, but had to MacGyver using a baby blanket instead of the newborn insert to get the little dude to go in it without SCREAMING. The day he was big enough to ride in the carrier solo-style was a gloriously happy day. So, you can imagine how giddy it made me to find out Ergobaby now has basically the ‘original’ carrier re-imagined in a way that you can put a newborn in it solo-style!! Guys…I’m seriously excited about this…like in a way that I shouldn’t be that excited about the ability to strap my baby on my chest like a kangaroo.
Go…enter now!! Get some free baby stuff. Share with your friends or anyone who is pregnant, or just had a baby!
Stay tuned for the next giveaway in 2 weeks…hint…there is a breast pump involved.
